
Umaru Musa Yar’Adua
Umaru Musa Yar’Adua was a Nigerian politician who served as the President of Nigeria from 2007 until his death in 2010. Prior to his presidency, he was the Governor of Katsina State from 1999 to 2007. Yar’Adua was known for his commitment to reforming Nigeria’s electoral process and for his focus on tackling issues such as corruption and improving the power sector.
