Umesh Reddy
Umesh Reddy is a convicted serial rapist and murderer who was formerly a police constable. He has been found guilty of 20 rapes and 18 murders committed between 1996 and 2022. His death sentence was commuted to 30 years of imprisonment without remission by the Supreme Court in 2022, which considered concerns regarding his mental health despite medical reports declaring him fit.
