Umut Shayaqmetova

Umut Shayaqmetova is the Chairperson of the Management Board of Halyk Bank and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Kuliyeva Foundation. She is known for her leadership in social and environmental initiatives, most notably for her role in the 'Halyk орманы' project, which aims to plant over 4 million trees in Kazakhstan over the next five years as part of an effort to restore forests damaged by fires and deforestation.
