Undeca
Undeca, or the Unión Nacional de Empleados de la Caja y la Seguridad Social, is a labor union in Costa Rica that represents employees of the Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social (CCSS). Recently, they have been in the news for supporting surgical and nursing staff at the Hospital Calderón Guardia, who are protesting against unsustainable workloads and a significant lack of personnel, which they argue is affecting both employee well-being and patient care.
