This individual was the victim of a brutal murder in 2001, whose body was discovered in 2002 under a railway bridge in the river Mukhavets, lacking both a head and hands. For over two decades, the identity of this man remained a mystery until recent investigations revealed that he was a Russian citizen involved in criminal activities. The murder was carried out by four individuals from Brest and Gomel as part of a gang-related conflict over criminal business interests. In March 2024, three of the perpetrators were apprehended, with one still at large, and they were subsequently sentenced to lengthy prison terms for their crimes.
