Unknown Customs Inspector

A customs inspector at Faisalabad Airport was recently in the news for allegedly harassing a female passenger and demanding a bribe of 350,000 PKR. The incident occurred in February 2024, where the inspector, along with two constables, was accused of extorting money after confronting the passenger over the possession of two iPhones. Following an investigation by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the inspector and his accomplices were arrested and subsequently remanded to jail by a senior civil judge.
