A Grodnenets man was sentenced to 13 years in a high-security prison for extorting cryptocurrency from a Minsk IT specialist, after he and an accomplice threatened the victim with a weapon and demanded an enormous sum of 5750 bitcoins, equivalent to almost one billion Belarusian rubles.
