The hotelier, whose identity remains undisclosed, became a victim of a shocking extortion scheme orchestrated by three Romanian individuals in Bagnolo San Vito, Italy. Initially presenting themselves as legitimate buyers interested in purchasing his hotel, the men escalated their demands into threats of violence when the hotelier attempted to disengage from the deal. Fearing for his safety, he complied with their demands, handing over €9,000 and two high-end mobile phones before seeking help from the authorities, who ultimately arrested the perpetrators.
