A 39-year-old man from Pavlodar was recently sentenced to three years in a medium-security colony after he bit two police officers during an altercation outside a karaoke club. The incident occurred last summer when police were called to address his aggressive behavior. Despite claiming that he did not intend to bite the officers and attributing his actions to being intoxicated, he was found guilty of violence against law enforcement personnel. Following the court's decision, he was taken into custody from his house arrest and has already filed an appeal against his conviction.
