
USS Fitzgerald
The USS Fitzgerald (DDG-62) is a guided-missile destroyer in the United States Navy, commissioned in 1995. It is named after Lieutenant William Charles Fitzgerald, who was killed in action during World War II. The ship is part of the Arleigh Burke-class and is primarily tasked with anti-aircraft, anti-submarine, and anti-surface warfare.
