Ustad Bashir Khan

Ustad Bashir Khan was a revered tabla player from Pakistan, known for his exceptional skill and artistry in percussion. With a career spanning several decades, he performed alongside legendary musicians such as Madam Noor Jehan and Abida Parveen. Recognized for his contributions to classical music, he also dedicated part of his life to teaching at the National Academy of Performing Arts (Napa), influencing a new generation of musicians. His passing on April 24 at the age of 80 marked the loss of one of Pakistan's finest musical talents.
