Uzunoğlu is the Chief of Staff to Mansur Yavaş, the Mayor of Ankara. He has recently been in the news due to a request for an investigation permit by the Ministry of Interior regarding allegations of misconduct and neglect of duties related to concert expenditures that led to significant financial losses for the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality.
