Valdas Sirutkaitis

Habil. Dr. Valdas Sirutkaitis is a highly respected physicist and professor at Vilnius University, who has made significant contributions to the fields of ultrashort lasers and nonlinear optics, as well as the development of the Vilnius laser school. He has led the Laser Research Center and is recognized as one of the key figures in Lithuania's laser science community, having published nearly 300 scientific papers and worked in international laboratories. He was awarded the Order of the Knight’s Cross for Merits to Lithuania (2004).
