Valdis Otto

Valdis Otto is an esteemed figure in Latvian motorsport, having been involved since the mid-20th century. His passion for racing began at the age of five, inspired by early visits to competitions at the historic Mežaparks track. Otto has played a pivotal role in the development of motocross and later transitioned to auto racing and speedway, contributing as a coach for the Soviet junior national team. After a 25-year hiatus from motorsport during which he worked in construction, he remains a respected authority in the field, sharing his insights on today's world-class speedway events in Latvia.
