Valeria Hamel

Valeria Hamel is a prominent Mexican political activist and former member of the 'Yo Soy 132' movement, which emerged in 2012 as a response to perceived electoral injustices and media bias during the presidential campaign. Following her active participation in the protests against Enrique Peña Nieto, she went on to become the personal secretary of Alejandro Encinas in the Ministry of the Interior, further engaging in political processes to advocate for youth and social justice in Mexico.
