Valery Petrovich Gaiduk was a renowned Belarusian rowing coach who played a pivotal role in training several successful athletes, including Olympic gold medalist Ekaterina Khodotovich (Karsten). He was celebrated for his contributions to the sport, particularly for coaching the women's eight crew that won a bronze medal at the Olympics.
