He has founded a library that houses nearly a million items, including works of poetry, prose, drama, art books, and various periodicals. His lifelong dedication to books began at a young age when he became a 'book saver' to prevent books from being discarded. At the age of twenty, he established his own publishing house to fully understand the intricacies of book production. Recently, he launched a library that aims to facilitate the digital transformation of Latvian culture, incorporating modern resources such as e-books and online databases.
