Vanrea Armaly-Smith

Vanrea Armaly-Smith serves as a Correction Sergeant and is the second-in-command of the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services’ K-9 Unit. She has played a vital role in fostering a positive relationship between the department and the community, particularly in the aftermath of a controversial incident involving the shooting of a musician's dog. Armaly-Smith expressed her joy in seeing Duke Strachan smile again after presenting him with a new puppy, demonstrating the department's commitment to rectifying past wrongs.
