Varishe Moradi

Varishe Moradi is a Kurdish feminist and political prisoner in Iran, known for her activism against the Islamic State and her fight for women's rights. Recently in the news due to her imminent execution along with two other feminists, Moradi is currently in a critical health condition, suffering from untreated injuries sustained during combat against Daesh, highlighting the dire situation of political prisoners in Iran.
