Vasile Badea

Vasile Badea was a Romanian former policeman who was part of a group of mercenaries deployed in the Democratic Republic of Congo. He lost his life during an ambush in February 2024, alongside fellow contractors, shedding light on the perilous conditions and organizational failures faced by these private military personnel.
