Vasile U.

Vasile U. is a Romanian businessman who was recently sentenced to one and a half years in prison by the Provincial Court of Valladolid for violating the rights of seasonal workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. He was found guilty of imposing abusive working conditions on foreign agricultural workers while promising them favorable employment terms. The court determined that he was the de facto employer, controlling organizational activities and payments while using his sister as a front to evade legal responsibilities.
