Vasilica Tastaman

Vasilica Tastaman, born on October 6, 1933, in Brăila, Romania, was a celebrated Romanian actress known for her captivating performances on stage. She made her debut in 1949 and became a prominent figure in the Romanian theater scene, helping to establish the Comedy Theatre in 1961. Over nearly three decades, Tastaman portrayed a variety of memorable roles, including characters from Molière and Shakespeare. Known for her charm and talent, she was also recognized for her personal life, having been married twice. In 1981, she moved to Sweden, where she continued her theatrical career until her return to Romania in 2003, where she faced health issues that prevented her from performing again. She passed away on March 30, 2003, in Bucharest.
