Vasilije Popović

Vasilije Popović was a prominent Serbian theologian and conservative cleric, known for his strong opposition to the Narodna stranka and its leaders, Svetozar Miletić and Jovan Subotić. He was educated in Novi Sad and Segedin and later completed his theological studies in Belgrade, aligning himself with the conservative faction of the Serbian clergy.
