Vasily Osymakov

Vasily Osymakov is a prominent Russian government official currently serving as the first deputy minister of industry and trade. Born in 1981, he graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University, specializing in Eastern studies and Arabic translation. Since 2004, he has held various positions within the Ministry of Industry and Trade, including assistant to the minister and head of the department for strategic development. His extensive experience in government roles culminated in his appointment as deputy minister in 2016 and subsequently as first deputy minister in 2021.
