Vassilios Spanoulis is a retired Greek professional basketball player and one of the most celebrated figures in European basketball history. Known for his exceptional scoring ability, leadership, and clutch performances, Spanoulis played for several top European clubs, including Panathinaikos and Olympiacos, where he won multiple EuroLeague titles. He is also a key figure in the Greek national team, leading them to a historic victory in the 2006 FIBA World Championship. After retiring from professional play, he transitioned into coaching, taking the helm of Olympiacos, where he continues to influence the sport.
