Vasyl Kryachok

Vasyl Kryachok is a Ukrainian conductor who led the Mariupol Chamber Philharmonic until the Russian invasion in 2022, after which he became a humanitarian leader for those seeking refuge in his concert hall. Following his escape to Kyiv, he has worked to rebuild the orchestra, now known as the Mariupol Chamber Orchestra Renaissance, fostering hope through music amidst the ongoing conflict.
