
Végh Ferenc
Végh Ferenc is a retired Hungarian general who served as the Chief of the General Staff of the Hungarian Armed Forces from June 6, 1996, to July 18, 2002. Born in December 1948, he became one of the youngest leaders of the military in Hungary's post-communist era. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his contributions to the modernization and restructuring of the Hungarian military, particularly during the country’s transition to NATO membership. He has also been involved in various military and defense-related political discussions in Hungary.
