Venancio Bermúdez

Venancio Bermúdez is a local historian and chronicler whose research focuses on the history of Aracataca, the birthplace of Gabriel García Márquez. He has dedicated much of his life to studying the oral histories and documentation of the region, connecting the past with the literary narratives of García Márquez. His efforts have earned him recognition as a notable figure in understanding the cultural heritage of Macondo.
