Vera Vigevani Jarach

Vera Vigevani Jarach was a prominent Argentine activist, known as a 'Madre de Plaza de Mayo' who dedicated her life to seeking truth and justice for the victims of the military dictatorship in Argentina. Born in Milan in 1928, she emigrated to Argentina to escape racial laws, only to lose her daughter Franca to the brutal regime. Until her passing at the age of 97, Vera actively participated in protests and advocated for the memory of the 'desaparecidos', becoming a symbol of resilience and hope in the fight against oppression.
