Vergílio Correia

Vergílio Correia was a pioneering figure in the study of the ancient ruins at Conímbriga and the first director of the Museu Monográfico de Conímbriga, which opened in 1962. His efforts laid the groundwork for the preservation and investigation of the site, making significant contributions to its historical understanding.
