Veronika Dosoudilová

Veronika Dosoudilová is the head of the Dog Azyl shelter in Veľký Meder, Slovakia, which played a crucial role in the recent police operation to rescue over 300 dogs from the largest illegal breeding operation in the history of the country. During the operation, she and her team assisted in the handling and transportation of the animals, many of whom were found in poor health conditions. Despite the challenges posed by the influx of dogs, including limited shelter capacity and high temperatures, Dosoudilová and her staff worked tirelessly to provide care and support for the rescued animals.
