Vicente Pinzón

Vicente Pinzón was a prominent Spanish explorer and navigator of the early 16th century, known for his voyages to the New World. He is often credited with being one of the first Europeans to discover parts of the South American coast, including the Amazon River, in 1500. Although his claims of discovery were overshadowed by later expeditions, his contributions to the exploration of the Americas were significant in the context of European expansion and colonization.
