Vicente Zambada

Vicente 'El Vicentillo' Zambada is the son of Ismael 'El Mayo' Zambada, a notorious figure in the Sinaloa Cartel. Vicente gained notoriety himself when he became a key witness against Joaquín 'El Chapo' Guzmán in 2019, after pleading guilty in 2013 to charges of drug trafficking and money laundering. His cooperation with U.S. authorities marked a significant turn in the fight against the Sinaloa Cartel and highlighted the deep-seated connections between organized crime and politics in Mexico.
