Victor Adebowale

Lord Victor Adebowale is the chair of the NHS Confederation and a leading voice in the discourse on mental health and racial equality in the UK. His 2021 review highlighted the disproportionate number of Black individuals experiencing negative outcomes in mental health and policing contexts. Despite making 28 recommendations for change, recent evaluations indicate that only a fraction have been fully enacted, prompting renewed calls for systemic reforms.
