Víctor Antúnez

Víctor Antúnez is the coordinator of the Honduran Community Education Program (Proheco) within the Ministry of Education. He was in the news recently for confirming that over 1,000 Proheco teachers, who had not received their salaries for four months, will finally be compensated following the government's allocation of more than 57 million lempiras. Antúnez provided updates on the payroll process and explained that the delays were due to late budget approval and the transition of Proheco teachers to permanent positions, which also come with increased salaries and benefits.
