Victor Dillard
Victor Dillard was a Jesuit priest recognized for his courageous efforts in aiding French forced laborers and prisoners of war in Germany during World War II. Operating undercover from 1943, he provided assistance to around 2,000 individuals before being arrested and ultimately dying in the Dachau concentration camp in 1945, earning him the title of one of the 'Wuppertaler Blutzeugen.'
