Victor Espíritu Santo Montilla

Victor Espíritu Santo Montilla, commonly known as Vitoco, is recognized as one of the founders of the community known as 'El Hoyo de Friusa' in the Dominican Republic. He arrived in the area in 1998 when it was sparsely populated, consisting of only a few houses and a workshop. Vitoco has witnessed the evolution of Friusa into one of the most densely populated and commercially active localities in the Verón-Punta Cana region. His personal history and experiences reflect the broader socio-economic dynamics of the area, particularly the significant presence of Haitian immigrants and the challenges faced by the community.
