Recently, he was in the news for being granted conditional release from prison, after which he allegedly orchestrated the murders of two students, Bryan Josué Núñez Pineda and Luis Eduardo Cardona Miranda. He faces multiple charges, including murder and robbery, and has a prior conviction for extortion.
