Vikal Paudel

Vikal Paudel is a former executive director of Nepal Telecom who has been implicated in multiple corruption cases, including a recent scandal involving the procurement of payment gateway servers. He was charged by the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) for accepting bribes totaling USD 79,640 from a contractor linked to the purchase, which was found to involve irregularities and collusion in the bidding process. Paudel has faced several legal challenges for corruption and is currently serving time in prison.
