Viktor Khoroshavtsev

Viktor Khoroshavtsev is a former senator from Udmurtia and the ex-president of Bashneft, a major Russian oil company. He served as a senator from 2003 to 2009 and later headed OAO Sistema-Invest, a subsidiary of AFK Sistema, which at one point controlled significant shares of Bashneft. He is currently in the news for being placed on a wanted list and facing serious charges of fraud, which could result in up to ten years in prison.
