Viktor Kirjanov

Viktor Kirjanov is a former Russian government official who served as the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs. He became a member of the World Motor Sport Council (WMSC) but stepped down from his position in response to the sanctions imposed on Russia following its invasion of Ukraine in 2022. Recently, FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem reinstated Kirjanov's membership during a meeting on June 11, despite Kirjanov being subject to sanctions from several countries, including the United States and member states of the European Union.
