Viktorija Amelina

Viktorija Amelina was a prominent Ukrainian writer and journalist, recognized for her poignant reflections on the impacts of war on culture and identity. Tragically, she lost her life in a missile attack in Kramatorsk in 2023. Her dedication to documenting the experiences of Ukrainian citizens during the conflict, including her posthumously published work 'Looking at Women, Looking at War', has highlighted the crucial role of literature in preserving cultural memory during times of crisis.
