Viktoriya Futrina

Viktoriya Futrina is the chief editor of the Gomel district newspaper 'Mayak' and a graduate of the legal faculty at the Gomel State University. She began her career in journalism in 2022 and quickly rose to the position of chief editor by August 2023. Futrina recently made headlines for publicly apologizing to the Belarusian band 'Drozdy' after making harsh accusations against them, acknowledging that her comments were unfounded and had harmed the band's reputation.
