Villi Valli

Villi Valli, born Vilberg Valdal Vilbergsson in May 1930, was a beloved figure in Ísafjörður, Iceland, known for his dual career as a barber and a musician. His passion for music began at a young age, and he became a prominent performer in dance bands and local events, often playing the piano and saxophone. Villi was also a composer, creating a variety of musical works that showcased his talent across different genres. He was honored as the town's artist and received the title of honorary citizen in 2017. Villi passed away on November 6, 2024, leaving behind a rich legacy in both music and the arts.
