Vincentas Sladkevičius

Vincentas Sladkevičius was a prominent Lithuanian cardinal, elevated to the rank by Pope John Paul II in 1988. Despite his significant role in the Catholic Church, he never participated in a papal conclave due to the timing of his elevation; he passed away in 2000 while John Paul II was still pope, and during his cardinalate, no conclaves were held.
