Vincenzo Scotti is a prominent Italian politician and former Minister of the Interior, known for his long-standing involvement in Italian politics, particularly with the Christian Democracy party. He has also served as the founder of Link Campus University, a private institution that has recently been embroiled in a scandal involving fraudulent practices concerning easy exams and degrees. At the age of 92, Scotti was sentenced to five years and six months in prison for his role in facilitating a system of academic dishonesty at the university.
