
Virginia Hall
Virginia Hall was an American spy during World War II who worked for the British Special Operations Executive and later for the U.S. Office of Strategic Services (OSS), becoming one of the first female operatives in the CIA. Hall, who was known for her resourcefulness and bravery, set up spy networks in France and was highly sought after by the Nazis, who dubbed her ‘the most dangerous of all Allied spies’ due to her successful missions and ability to evade capture.
