Vita Brežnjeva

Vita Brežnjeva is a resident of Kramatorsk, Ukraine, who returned to her hometown after fleeing in April 2022 due to the ongoing conflict. Despite the dangers of living close to the front lines, she decided to come back to care for her visually impaired mother, manage her pet grooming business, and reunite with her clients who have also returned. Vita's story reflects the deep emotional ties and resilience of those who choose to live in war-torn areas, as well as the challenges they face in rebuilding their lives amidst continuing threats.
