Vitalina Martynovska

Vitalina Martynovska is the director of Kyiv’s National Chornobyl Museum, where she has led a transformative project to tell the story of the Chernobyl disaster and its impact on Ukraine. After the museum reopened on April 26, 2023, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the disaster, it was severely damaged by a Russian missile strike on May 23, 2023, resulting in the loss of 40% of its displayed artefacts.
