Vitautas the Great

Vitautas the Great (c. 1350-1430) was a significant historical figure in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, serving as its Grand Duke from 1392 until his death. He is celebrated for his military leadership during the Battle of Grunwald and efforts to strengthen Lithuania's independence and territorial integrity. His reign marked a period of cultural and political expansion for Lithuania, and he is often regarded as a symbol of Lithuanian national identity.
